Systems Engineer (T&E)

TL;DR

Systems Engineer (T&E): Supporting test and evaluation efforts for NAVWAR and PEO C4I with an accent on test planning, execution, and reporting for national security systems. Focus on developing test strategies, coordinating with government agencies, and ensuring system readiness through environmental and cybersecurity testing.

Location: San Diego, CA. Must be a US Citizen and possess or be able to obtain a Secret clearance.

Salary: $110,000–$130,000

What you will do

• Support test events including installation, scheduling, procedures, and integration.
• Collaborate with program stakeholders and agencies such as OPTEVFOR and JITC.
• Manage planning activities and coordinate Integration and Test (I&T) events.
• Support environmental testing, including Shock, Vibration, and EMI testing, as well as Cybersecurity T&E.
• Lead the development of test plans, procedures, reports, and Test Readiness Review (TRR) artifacts.
• Facilitate the development of overall program test strategies.

Requirements

• US Citizenship and Secret clearance required.
• Knowledge of T&E, acquisition, and cybersecurity processes in the Defense Acquisition life cycle.
• Understanding of shipboard architecture and infrastructure.
• Experience with system developmental type test events.
• Ability to travel and go onboard ships for underway testing.
• Knowledge of engineering change and installation processes.
