TL;DR

Product Owner (Sports Tech): Managing the lifecycle of sports tracking and officiating platforms with an accent on strategic roadmapping, stakeholder management, and technical excellence. Focus on designing high-stakes decision systems, optimizing cloud-based data solutions, and ensuring strict adherence to customer SLAs.

Location: Hybrid (Budapest, Hungary). Must be based in or able to commute to the Budapest office 2 days per week

Salary: HUF 1,045,000 – 1,567,500

What you will do

  • Own the team backlog, defining epics, features, and user stories to maximize ROI.
  • Shape the strategic roadmap and vision for the tracking portfolio based on market and user analysis.
  • Act as the global ambassador for the product, aligning cross-functional engineering teams and high-profile clients.
  • Collaborate with architects and QA to ensure architectural consistency and eliminate the cost of delays.
  • Monitor operational data and oversee 3rd-line support to guarantee flawless rollouts.

Requirements

  • 2-3+ years of experience as a Product Manager or Product Owner.
  • Proven ability to manage technically complex products and cloud-based data solutions.
  • Expertise in defining MMFs, MVPs, and setting strategic OKRs.
  • Advanced stakeholder management skills for aligning diverse engineering teams and external clients.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills for navigating ambiguous environments.

Nice to have

  • Experience with B2B high-performance products.
  • Knowledge of real-time systems combining software and hardware tracking.
  • Willingness to travel internationally to work with sports federations.
