What you will do

• Lead the architecture and design of AI-powered Search solutions, including services and data flows.
• Drive end-to-end delivery of GenAI solutions, including orchestration, evaluation, and RAG implementation.
• Define reference architectures for secure, scalable, and cost-efficient model usage.
• Ensure platform reliability through latency optimization, observability, and security.
• Conduct POCs to validate technical approaches based on performance and cost.
• Mentor engineers and contribute to a strong engineering culture.

Requirements

• Strong experience designing and operating large-scale backend systems in production.
• Deep proficiency in Java or Kotlin with cloud-native development experience.
• Practical experience delivering AI/LLM-based solutions (RAG, orchestration, evaluation).
• Strong understanding of ML/AI concepts (embeddings, retrieval, safety).
• Experience with AWS cloud architecture and DevSecOps/CI/CD pipelines.
• High level of English (written and spoken).

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with AWS Bedrock and GenAI tooling.
• Experience with OpenSearch or Elasticsearch and search relevance tuning.
• Familiarity with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
• Understanding of event-driven architectures.
