TL;DR

Frontend Engineer (React): Building and maintaining a dynamic image editor and the Creatives suite with an accent on WYSIWYG interfaces and bulk image generation. Focus on translating functional requirements into reusable components and optimizing user-centric UI/UX based on customer feedback.

Location: Hybrid in Utrecht (minimum 2 days/week in office); valid work permit required.

Salary: €51,000 – €77,000 per year

What you will do

  • Develop and maintain features for the Creatives suite, specifically a dynamic image editor.
  • Implement an interactive WYSIWYG interface and support bulk image generation via NodeJS.
  • Prototype new functionalities based on customer feedback and UX improvements.
  • Translate functional requirements into stable, reusable, and maintainable frontend components.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional team members including backend engineers, product managers, and UI/UX designers.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience developing frontend applications using React.
  • 3+ years of experience with native JavaScript (ES6 and above).
  • Professional experience with TypeScript.
  • Experience writing unit tests in a React environment using Jest or Vitest.
  • Strong understanding of REST APIs.
  • Valid work permit for the Netherlands.

Nice to have

  • Experience working with HTML5 Canvas or rendering libraries like FabricJS.
