Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands (hybrid). Open to candidates located in Europe who are willing to relocate to the Netherlands.

What you will do

• Partner with product teams to design and deliver frontend solutions aligning with platform standards.
• Drive incremental migration and modernization in a large monolithic codebase.
• Develop scalable abstractions, utilities, and patterns for shared problems across teams.
• Improve developer experience via tooling, documentation, and workflows.
• Influence frontend architecture decisions balancing product needs and platform health.
• Collaborate with design, backend, and product teams for consistent frontend experiences.
• Promote best practices in performance, testing, accessibility, and code organization.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience with large-scale production codebases and mission-critical systems.
• Strong experience with modern frontend frameworks like Vue (or React, Angular).
• Solid understanding of JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3, and browser fundamentals.
• Experience with complex frontend architectures and improving legacy/monolithic systems.
• Grasp of frontend architecture and design patterns for scalability/maintainability.
• Familiarity with build tools (Webpack, Vite) and CI/CD practices.
• Strong communication/collaboration skills and pragmatic mindset.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with frontend platform work, shared tooling, or internal frameworks.
• Experience improving developer experience through automation and documentation.
• Contributions to design systems or shared component libraries.
