What you will do

• Design, build, and scale public-facing APIs in Go hosted on GCP for millions of users.
• Ensure backend reliability through comprehensive testing strategies and safe rollout processes.
• Monitor and optimize backend systems using Datadog to ensure proactive reliability.
• Collaborate with game teams, data engineers, and product managers to align technical solutions with business goals.
• Improve CI/CD pipelines using Terraform, GitHub Actions, and Jenkins.
• Support and maintain internal tools and services using TypeScript, Node.js, and React.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional backend development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Go and solid knowledge of TypeScript/Node.js.
• Experience with MongoDB as a primary database.
• Proven track record of designing scalable microservices and RESTful APIs.
• Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure (GCP preferred, AWS valuable) and Terraform.
• Position is not open to relocation and no visa sponsorship is provided.

Nice to have

• Experience in the gaming industry or with real-time, high-throughput backend systems.
• Experience building CLIs or developer tooling.
