What you will do

• Design and maintain mission-critical software enforcing trusted access from Web, Mobile, and Desktop platforms.
• Lead development of authentication and secure access components to ensure resilience and performance.
• Own services end-to-end from architecture and design to deployment, observability, and on-call support.
• Drive architectural discussions to guide the evolution of hirify.global's security infrastructure.
• Collaborate with product and security teams to deliver robust device management and access control capabilities.
• Participate in the on-call rotation to triage and respond to system issues.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in backend development, including leading significant technical initiatives.
• Proven track record of building mission-critical systems in areas like identity, authentication, OAuth, or access control.
• Proficiency in writing clean, maintainable code in Java.
• Experience operating large-scale distributed systems with high uptime and security expectations.
• Ability to think in terms of platforms, ensuring extensibility and maintainability.
• Must be able to work from an assigned office at least 3 days per week.

Nice to have

• Experience with zero trust models and device security posture management.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes and cloud platforms such as GCP, AWS, or Azure.
• Experience with PHP, TypeScript, and React.
• Prior experience working on internal platforms requiring high reliability and compliance.
