What you will do

• Take ownership of solution technical specifications, documenting requirements as user stories and functional specifications with clear acceptance criteria.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Solution Architects, developers, and testers to develop and review robust solution options.
• Elicit requirements from non-technical stakeholders and guide them to minimize complexity and maximize system reuse.
• Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for development and testing teams, providing guidance on implementation and root cause analysis for defects.
• Manage relationships and technical expectations with third-party software vendors and technology partners.
• Drive continual improvements in delivery processes to enhance the quality and efficiency of technical changes.

Requirements

• Experience integrating complex software applications and a deep understanding of application workflows.
• Strong ability to analyze source and target systems, including functional logic, data models, and data flows.
• Proven experience designing, documenting, and reviewing SOAP and REST API specifications.
• Ability to translate business needs into comprehensive technical designs that enable effective development.
• Experience leading collaborative workshops for requirements gathering and problem-solving.
• Capability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders clearly.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of database schemas and proficiency in writing SQL.
• Previous experience in the insurance or regulated financial services industry.
• Understanding of Azure cloud architecture, principles, and components.
