Salary: $170,000-190,000

What you will do

• Serve as tech lead for a product squad, owning technical direction, estimation, sprint planning, and feature delivery.
• Implement scalable, secure, and observable system architectures, including APIs, services, and data models.
• Develop high-quality frontend experiences in React and robust backend services in Node.js/TypeScript.
• Model PostgreSQL schemas, write performant SQL, and manage migrations to ensure data integrity.
• Apply sound software engineering principles to create modifiable, reliable, and fault-tolerant code.
• Provide software process management and control throughout the coding lifecycle.

Requirements

• Secret security clearance required.
• US Citizenship required.
• Ability to work on-site 1-2 days per week in Washington DC/Arlington, VA.
• Experience developing web applications using React, Node.js, and PostgreSQL.
• Proven ability to oversee cross-functional teams and lead technical architecture.
• Proficiency in TypeScript and SQL query tuning.
