What you will do

• Design and develop full-stack features using Angular and Java/Spring Boot microservices.
• Build and operate scalable services in containerized environments with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Own the design and evolution of core services and APIs to ensure reliability and maintainability.
• Implement asynchronous messaging patterns using Kafka for distributed environments.
• Optimize data models and persistence layers using Postgres or MySQL.
• Collaborate with architects and stakeholders to translate mission needs into technical solutions.

Requirements

• 8+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, and modern frameworks like Angular.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Kafka.
• U.S. Citizenship and the ability to obtain a DoW Secret clearance are mandatory.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related engineering field (preferred).
• Must be based in the continental United States and align with East Coast working hours.

Nice to have

• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Apigee.
• Familiarity with API authentication and authorization (OAuth2, JWT, SAML).
• Experience working with OpenAPI/Swagger specifications.
• Background working on U.S. Federal Government programs.
