What you will do

• Develop machine learning models and Bayesian filtering algorithms for multi-object tracking and state estimation.
• Create estimation algorithms for road features, including lane lines, speed limits, and road shape.
• Design forecasting algorithms for actor motion, time-to-collision, and threat level assessment.
• Transition solutions from lab environments to test tracks and public roads.
• Collaborate with perception experts and roboticists on algorithm design, prototyping, and deployment.
• Maintain industry-leading software practices and develop efficient code for perception modules.

Requirements

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical field with 4+ years of experience (or Master's with 2+ years, or PhD).
• Proven track record of developing and deploying deep learning solutions using PyTorch or similar frameworks.
• Strong experience in deep learning, Bayesian filtering, and optimization algorithms.
• At least 4 years of development experience in a Python/C++ environment.
• Experience shipping perception software products to industry or consumers.

Nice to have

• Ph.D. with a focus on machine learning.
• Experience developing and deploying machine learning models under compute constraints.
