Country Manager (Fintech)

Location: On-site in Taipei, Taiwan

What you will do

• Develop and execute the market entry strategy, including business planning for regulatory setup and growth.
• Secure necessary regulatory licenses and ensure full adherence to local insurance industry standards.
• Build and negotiate commercial partnerships and distribution agreements with insurers and ecosystem players.
• Lead the platform launch and collaborate with product/engineering teams to ensure strong product-market fit.
• Establish high-performance operating processes, reporting structures, and growth metrics.
• Recruit and lead a high-performing team with an ownership culture and execution mindset.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in insurance, fintech, digital platforms, or high-growth technology companies.
• Demonstrated experience managing commercial performance, revenue growth, and partnerships.
• Strong leadership capability with experience managing cross-functional teams.
• Highly analytical and execution-focused mindset for high-intensity environments.
• Must be based in Taipei, Taiwan (On-site)

Nice to have

• Experience working specifically in a regulated insurance environment.
• Deep understanding of the Taiwan insurance market, regulatory environment, and distribution landscape.
