Structural Engineer

TL;DR

Structural Engineer (Infrastructure): Supporting the analysis, design, and documentation of structural systems for infrastructure projects with an accent on steel, concrete, masonry, and wood design. Focus on performing engineering calculations, preparing technical drawings in AutoCAD/Revit, and coordinating with multidisciplinary project teams.

Location: Must be based in or able to commute to Ridgefield, WA or Portland, OR (Hybrid flexibility offered).

Salary: $75,000–$100,000 per year.

What you will do

• Support licensed engineers in the analysis and design of structural systems including steel, concrete, masonry, and wood.
• Perform engineering calculations and technical analysis under supervision.
• Prepare structural drawings, details, and specifications using AutoCAD and Revit.
• Coordinate with architects, civil engineers, and other disciplines within integrated project teams.
• Assist with quantity takeoffs, cost considerations, and project documentation.
• Support construction administration, including submittal reviews, RFI responses, and site visits.

Requirements

• EIT (Engineer in Training) certification required.
• Bachelor’s degree in civil or structural engineering.
• 2+ years of relevant structural engineering experience.
• Working knowledge of structural design principles and codes (IBC, ASCE 7, ACI, AISC, NDS).
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and/or Revit.
• Valid driver’s license for site visits.
