Security Operations Specialist

TL;DR

Security Operations Specialist (Corporate Security): Supporting the global security function by managing executive protection, contract security services, and conducting threat, vulnerability, and risk assessments (TVRAs). Focus on identifying security gaps, coordinating incident response, and synthesizing intelligence to mitigate risks to personnel and infrastructure.

What you will do

• Support the executive protection program through site assessments and coordination.
• Oversee contract security providers, including performance monitoring and compliance audits.
• Conduct physical security assessments and TVRAs for offices and project locations.
• Liaise with HR, Legal, and Facilities on sensitive security matters and workplace safety.
• Collect and analyze intelligence to identify emerging threats and trends.
• Prepare written reports and briefings for security leadership and internal stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in security management, criminal justice, or a related field.
• 3–7 years of experience in corporate security, military, law enforcement, or protective services.
• Working knowledge of physical security principles, access control, and risk assessment.
• Strong English speaking and writing skills required.
• Ability to pass pre-employment background checks and drug screening.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with EPC or industrial settings.
• Experience with workplace violence prevention or insider risk programs.
• Relevant certifications such as ASIS CPP, PSP, or APP.
• Foreign language proficiency.
