What you will do

• Collaborate with business units and Control Officers to identify, evaluate, and document operational risks and controls.
• Assess potential operational risks associated with the launch of new products and features during design and implementation phases.
• Conduct thorough reviews of operational incidents to determine root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Perform third-party assessments of suppliers regarding Business Continuity Management governance.
• Support the first line of defense in reviewing and challenging Business Continuity Management processes.
• Identify, document, and track operational risk issues to ensure timely resolution and stakeholder alignment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Administration, Accounting, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field.
• Relevant experience in Operational Risk Management, Internal/External Audit, or similar roles.
• Strong knowledge of the financial services or banking industry.
• In-depth understanding of operational risk frameworks (e.g., COSO) and Brazilian regulations (BACEN).
• Advanced English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Must be based in or be able to relocate to Sao Paulo, Brazil.

Nice to have

• Enthusiasm for Artificial Intelligence and coding skills in SQL, Python, Scala, or similar languages.
