Senior Platform Engineer (AWS)

TL;DR

Senior Platform Engineer (AWS): Designing and maintaining internal platforms to migrate the Payments platform to AWS using Cell-Based Architecture (CBA) with an accent on scalability, reliability, and self-service tooling. What you will do

• Implement tools and cloud infrastructure to migrate the Payments platform to a CBA-based AWS environment.
• Develop the platform as a product, creating self-service tools for developers to streamline the product lifecycle.
• Apply cloud-native best practices using Infrastructure as Code (IaC), microservices, and serverless architectures.
• Drive continuous improvement in system performance, scalability, and reliability across distributed systems.
• Collaborate with architects and product managers to define technical requirements and mentor junior engineers.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in Software, Platform, or SRE roles.
• Deep proficiency in AWS services (S3, Lambda, RDS, ECS/EKS) and strong cloud networking skills.
• Proficiency in Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Solid programming experience in at least one language: Java, Python, or Go.
• Deep understanding of sophisticated, scalable, and distributed systems.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Nice to have

• Master's degree in a related field.
• AWS Certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Developer).
