Salary: $102,300 – $139,000

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain robust Java-based applications and services.
• Build and optimize RESTful APIs and backend integrations with databases and cloud services.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from requirements analysis to deployment and troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with architects, DevOps, and QA teams in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Ensure code quality through rigorous code reviews and adherence to security standards.
• Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation.

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. citizen or have lived in the U.S. for at least 3 of the last 5 years to pass public trust clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 4+ years of professional experience in Java development.
• Strong proficiency with Spring Framework and Spring Boot.
• Experience with RESTful API development and JPA/Hibernate.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI.
• Ability to work during Eastern Time business hours.

Nice to have

• Experience with microservices architecture.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience supporting federal or highly regulated environments.
