TL;DR
iOS Engineer (Growth): Developing user-facing features for onboarding, purchasing, and user activation with an accent on experimentation and data-driven decision-making. Focus on optimizing the user journey, maintaining 3rd party library integrations, and integrating AI into development workflows.
Location: Remote (US). Must be able to travel bi-annually for multiple days to a corporate office or strategic Basecamp location.
Salary: $119,000 – $140,000

What you will do
- Develop new user-facing features in the iOS app using Swift.
- Write quality code, implement tests, and conduct prompt pull request reviews.
- Maintain and optimize 3rd party library integrations, specifically Braze and Mparticle.
- Contribute to iOS team architecture and code standard discussions.
- Analyze data to identify opportunities for new growth experiments.
- Integrate AI tools as a co-pilot in daily workflows to increase quality and speed.
Requirements
- Minimum 4 years of professional software development experience.
- At least 2 years of professional focus on iOS development.
- Experience with gRPC, GraphQL, and/or REST APIs.
- Proficiency in GIT, specifically with rebasing.
- Strong foundation in computer science.
- Must be based in the United States.
Nice to have
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with subscription-based in-app purchases.
- Experience with analytics and client events (Braze, Kochava, Mparticle, Split).
- Interest in Consumer Psychology or Behavioral Economics.
- Knowledge of asynchronous programming and modern iOS libraries.
