Salary: $82,000 - $109,500 CAD (Canada Tier 1 Locations), $74,000 - $99,000 CAD (Canada Tier 2 Locations)

• Design, write, and maintain code for sophisticated mobile applications on iOS.
• Conduct code reviews, fix bugs, and write tests to ensure application stability and performance.
• Collaborate with the team in building new features that enhance user engagement.
• Craft experiments to understand user interactions better and contribute ideas for product improvements.

Requirements

• Experience building and shipping native iOS/iPadOS applications using Swift. Strong interest in modern iOS development practices, including SwiftUI and architectural patterns like MVVM.
• Passion for identifying and resolving bugs, with proficiency in code reviews, unit testing, and automation.
• Effectively operate in a distributed team setting, demonstrating excellent communication skills.
• Work transparently as part of the Mozilla open-source project, interacting with Mozilla’s global community to support our mission and contribute to a healthier internet.

Nice to have

• Reading and understanding Javascript and/or Rust.
• Unafraid of asking questions, and proposing new ideas if you think they will make a positive impact.
