What you will do

• Design, build, and operate mission-critical networks supporting satellite constellations and customers.
• Manage corporate network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, and hybrid cloud connectivity.
• Implement network security, segmentation, and adhere to security best practices.
• Develop network automation tools using Python, Ansible, and Infrastructure-as-Code.
• Collaborate with software, FPGA, and mission operations teams for satellite ground systems.
• Provide operational support, including on-call rotations, monitoring, and root cause analysis.

Requirements

• Strong foundation in routing/switching (ISIS, MPLS, BGP, GRE, VLAN) equivalent to CCNP.
• Experience deploying and supporting large WAN environments.
• Expertise in hybrid cloud networking, specifically AWS VPCs and TGW routing.
• Proficiency in SDN, IaC (Terraform), Python, Ansible, and Git.
• Basic Linux networking knowledge and experience with IPsec VPNs.
• Must be based in or have authorization to work in Canada or the United States.

Nice to have

• CCIE-level routing and switching experience.
• Advanced Linux kernel networking and traffic shaping.
• Experience with EVE-NG, GNS3, or container-based network labs.
• Knowledge of Fortinet solutions and SD-WAN.
• Experience with satellite communications or space-ground infrastructure.
