What you will do

• Define and execute the trading analytics vision and strategy to create a sustainable trading edge.
• Build and lead a specialized analytics organization of approximately 20 FTEs, including quant analysts and developers.
• Translate trading strategies into scalable analytics engines, market models, and algorithmic trading solutions.
• Manage the full lifecycle of analytics initiatives from idea generation and PoC to production and scaling.
• Collaborate with Trading, Risk, Tech, and Finance to embed analytical capabilities into operations.
• Secure funding through evidence-based business cases and active ROI steering.

Requirements

• Master’s degree or PhD in Quantitative Finance, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or Computer Science.
• Deep expertise in quantitative modelling, trading analytics, and model-driven decision-making.
• Strong understanding of energy markets, commodities, derivatives, options, and algorithmic trading.
• Proven experience in a front-office trading environment (energy, commodities, or proprietary trading).
• Track record of building scalable analytics capabilities from concept to production.
• Strong leadership experience managing highly skilled quantitative or technical teams.
