What you will do

• Analyze complex, noisy datasets to derive actionable insights and debug black-box models using interpretability methods.
• Design and execute rigorous statistical experiments, including power estimation and variance reduction.
• Benchmark and select ML methods (e.g., Transformers, tree ensembles) based on operational constraints and robust metrics.
• Implement production-grade MLOps practices, including drift detection and data quality monitoring.
• Deliver end-to-end analyses and clear visualizations to support stakeholder decision-making.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to interpret results and evaluate predictive and generative model performance.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience with data querying (SQL), scripting (Python), or statistical software (R, SAS, Matlab).
• Master’s degree in STEM or equivalent professional experience.
• Proven experience applying statistical models for large-scale applications and building automated analytical systems.
• Strong ability to communicate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
• Must be authorized to work in the USA and based in Seattle, WA.

• PhD in a STEM field.
