What you will do
- Act as the principal expert for payer workflows, interoperability, and integration architecture across customer implementations.
- Lead complex workflow discovery and advise on integration strategies within diverse payer environments.
- Partner with Product and Engineering to align solution designs and resolve interoperability risks.
- Develop scalable implementation frameworks, standards, and reusable assets to improve organizational efficiency.
- Provide expert consultation during customer strategy sessions to assess feasibility and align expectations.
- Utilize AI-enabled tools to enhance workflow analysis, documentation quality, and knowledge-sharing.
Requirements
- Must be based in the USA (implied by US healthcare focus and benefits).
- 8+ years of experience with health plan (payer) systems, workflows, and healthcare integrations.
- Proven expertise in healthcare interoperability standards including APIs, HL7, and FHIR.
- Experience leading complex healthcare implementations or workflow transformations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Healthcare Administration, or related field.
- Strong ability to translate operational requirements into technical implementation guidance.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of HL7 Da Vinci and X12 standards.
- Experience with utilization management and prior authorization operational workflows.
- Background in provider system workflows and payer-provider interoperability.
- Experience developing operational best practices or reusable implementation methodologies.
