What you will do
- Provide technical and line-management leadership to development teams.
- Take responsibility for the successful delivery of complex software projects.
- Shape and define architectural decisions ensuring scalability, security, and maintainability.
- Work directly with clients to translate business requirements into technical briefs.
- Identify and resolve technical blockers before they impact project timelines.
- Ensure best practices in software development, DevOps, and agile methodologies are upheld.
Requirements
- Must be based in Canada.
- Significant experience in software engineering as a Senior Engineer or Technical Lead.
- Proficiency in React.
- Experience leading software engineering teams and providing direct line management or mentoring.
- Deep understanding of agile methodologies, TDD, and version control tools like Git.
- Understanding of DevOps practices, cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP), and operational concerns.
Nice to have
- Experience with headless CMS, ideally Sanity.
