What you will do

• Provide technical and line-management leadership to development teams.
• Take responsibility for the successful delivery of complex software projects.
• Shape and define architectural decisions ensuring scalability, security, and maintainability.
• Work directly with clients to translate business requirements into technical briefs.
• Identify and resolve technical blockers before they impact project timelines.
• Ensure best practices in software development, DevOps, and agile methodologies are upheld.

Requirements

• Must be based in Canada.
• Significant experience in software engineering as a Senior Engineer or Technical Lead.
• Proficiency in React.
• Experience leading software engineering teams and providing direct line management or mentoring.
• Deep understanding of agile methodologies, TDD, and version control tools like Git.
• Understanding of DevOps practices, cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP), and operational concerns.

Nice to have

• Experience with headless CMS, ideally Sanity.
