Location: Hybrid in Lisbon, Portugal. Must be a Lawyer or Legal advisor in the EU.

What you will do

• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements with customers, vendors, and data providers.
• Provide proactive legal and regulatory advice to internal stakeholders.
• Support privacy and data protection compliance, including GDPR and global frameworks.
• Contribute to AI governance and data lifecycle management initiatives.
• Develop and maintain internal policies, procedures, and compliance programmes.
• Assist in risk assessment, mitigation, and third-party risk management for datasets and suppliers.

Requirements

• Lawyer or Legal advisor based in the EU.
• 2-3 years of professional experience.
• Strong background in commercial contracts and data protection.
• Fluent in English.
• Experience in technology, AI, or data-driven environments.
• Pragmatic, business-oriented mindset with strong stakeholder management.

Nice to have

• Exposure to AI Act or AI governance frameworks.
• Familiarity with ISO standards (e.g. 27001, 27701).
