What you will do

• Own the annual Lending budget process and build 5-year growth forecasts including origination trajectories and margin improvement paths.
• Manage weekly and monthly performance dashboards, conducting deep-dive variance analysis on loan sizes, approval rates, and default rates.
• Oversee the Lending P&L, partnering with risk teams to validate ECL provisions and ensure the P&L reflects true business economics.
• Translate lending strategy into financial implications, modeling working capital requirements and risk profiles for market expansions.
• Develop unit economics models for prospective lending partners and analyze the transition from partner-funded to own-funded models.
• Automate lending reporting by migrating manual spreadsheets to Workday and Tableau.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in FP&A or commercial finance within financial services, fintech, or lending businesses.
• Strong proficiency in Excel for handling large loan-level datasets and creating dynamic cohort analysis dashboards.
• Deep understanding of lending economics, including net interest margin, vintage analysis, and ECL provisions.
• Proven ability to build multi-year financial models from first principles and perform root cause variance analysis.
• Fluent English is required; proficiency in Portuguese or Spanish is a strong plus.
• Must be based in or able to work in Limassol, Cyprus.
