TL;DR

HR Lead (Kazakhstan): Owning the full HR function for the Foundation, including C&B, grading systems, and talent acquisition with an accent on scaling operations and ensuring compliance with RK labor law. Focus on building corporate culture, automating HR processes, and managing personnel assessment across Kazakhstan and project countries.

Location: Must be based in or willing to relocate to Almaty, Kazakhstan (Hybrid work mode).

What you will do

  • Develop and maintain compensation, benefits, and grading systems.
  • Manage full-cycle recruiting for Kazakhstan and project countries.
  • Oversee personnel records management in compliance with RK labor legislation.
  • Lead staff assessment, development planning, and corporate culture initiatives.
  • Drive HR process automation and analyze wage fund utilization.
  • Provide expert support on global personal taxation and labor law revisions.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in HR and C&B.
  • English proficiency of at least C1+.
  • Deep knowledge of Republic of Kazakhstan tax and labor legislation.
  • Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and ability to use AI tools.
  • Experience in transformational projects and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Ability to relocate to Almaty if not currently based there.

Nice to have

  • Experience working with suppliers and external agencies.
  • Background in scaling HR functions for non-profit or impact-driven organizations.
