What you will do

• Deploy and manage new Synthetics locations across multiple cloud providers.
• Develop robust tooling to manage existing infrastructure and automate complex migrations.
• Design and plan infrastructure technologies to support the evolving Synthetics product.
• Collaborate with developers to make architectural decisions and configure services.
• Ensure system reliability and efficiency through infrastructure-as-code practices.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering.
• Programming experience with structured languages such as Go or Python.
• Production experience running environments within one or several Cloud providers.
• Production experience with distributed compute or storage tools like Kubernetes, Cassandra, Postgres, Kafka, or Redis.
• Strong focus on correctness, efficiency, and diagnosing production issues.
• Ability to handle infrastructure with code to drive automation.
