Location: Onsite in Niagara, ON

Salary: $50,000 - $55,000 CAD

Safari Flower Co. is a contract GMP manufacturer of cannabis brands for global distribution to medical patients and consumers.

What you will do

• Assist in the establishment and enforcement of EU-GMP across all quality assurance standards.
• Maintain and periodically update the Validation component of the Site Master File (SMF).
• Establish and maintain Continued Process Verification (CPV) program including trending of Critical Process Parameters (CPPs) and Critical Quality Attributes (CQAs).
• Perform and oversee batch sampling for physical and chemical testing requirements and product studies in accordance with GMP framework.
• Assist in the drafting, review, and maintenance of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science or higher graduate degree in a technical discipline (Food, Chemical or Biological Sciences preferred).
• 3+ years of experience as a Quality Assurance Associate in a GAP, GPP, GMP, GLP and HACCP regulated environment.
• Proficient in written and spoken English.
• Strong and current knowledge of EU-GMP EudraLex Good Manufacturing Practice, Good Laboratory Practice, HACCP, Food Safety, regulatory and environmental guidelines.
• Able to pass security clearance checks and approved by Health Canada.
• Qualified to work legally in Canada.

Nice to have

• 1 year of experience in a GMP manufacturing environment.
• 3 years of prior experience in cannabis cultivation.
• 3 years of experience with Office/Excel.
• 3 years of Management experience.
• 3 years of Quality Assurance experience.
