What you will do

• Own software projects end-to-end, from scoping and design through delivery and iteration.
• Build a next-generation internal platform using containerization, virtualization, and AWS services.
• Author and improve Terraform modules for infrastructure-as-code.
• Partner with development teams to identify performance bottlenecks and drive cloud efficiency.
• Create runbooks and lead internal enablement sessions to champion platform efficiency.

Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency (Green Card holder) is required; no visa sponsorship available.
• 3+ years of professional experience in cloud engineering.
• Deep, hands-on expertise with AWS services and production-grade Terraform.
• Proficiency in Python, Go, or PHP.
• Strong computer science fundamentals in distributed systems and algorithms.

Nice to have

• Deep expertise in core AWS services such as S3, IAM, EC2, Lambda, or EKS.
• AWS Professional or Specialty certifications.
• Experience with observability tools like Datadog, Prometheus, or OpenTelemetry.
• Proven history of driving cloud cost reductions at scale.
