Senior Data Platform Engineer (Gamedev)

Location: Remote (Global)

What you will do

• Lead the migration of the Data Platform to a new on-premise stack and build/maintain ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Manage the Airflow orchestration layer, including DAGs, deployment, and recovery flows.
• Implement DataOps practices, including monitoring, alerting, and SLA/SLO tracking.
• Build custom tooling and exporters for platform health diagnostics and observability.
• Automate recurring operations and improve CI/CD and production-readiness standards.
• Manage Kubernetes at the application level for service migration and configuration.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience as a Data Platform, Data, or DataOps Engineer.
• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL.
• Practical experience with Spark or other distributed processing frameworks.
• Deep knowledge of Airflow internals and production workflow management.
• Ability to set up monitoring and observability stacks (e.g., Grafana/Prometheus).
• Proficiency with Kubernetes at the application level (containers, deployments, secrets).

Nice to have

• Familiarity with DWH, Data Lake, and Lakehouse architectures.
• Experience with legacy pipeline migration.
