What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain high-performance backend services based on an event-driven architecture.
• Develop APIs and services powering real-time monitoring and complex maintenance workflows.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align backend applications with product vision and user experience.
• Optimize data processing workflows to enhance speed, efficiency, and reliability.
• Continuously evolve systems through refactoring and improving maintainability and observability.
• Document architectural decisions and technical implementations for the team.

Requirements

• 5+ years of backend development experience focusing on user-facing products.
• Strong programming skills in Go, Python, Node.js, and/or Rust.
• Solid experience with messaging technologies such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or BullMQ.
• Deep understanding of microservices architecture and distributed system design.
• Proficiency in relational (PostgreSQL, ClickHouse) and non-relational (ScyllaDB, Cassandra, MongoDB) databases.
• Fluency in Portuguese.

Nice to have

• Fluency in English.
• Contributions to open-source or personal projects demonstrating backend architecture or data processing expertise.
