What you will do

• Apply internationally recognized plain language principles (such as ISO 24495-1) to explain complex technical and regulatory texts for draft ISPMs.
• Improve clarity, readability, and usability of texts for Contracting Parties while maintaining technical accuracy and legal meaning.
• Coordinate closely with Expert Working Groups (EWGs) and the CPM Bureau.
• Liaise with the OCC to ensure compliance with standards, aligned messaging, and appropriate review processes.
• Observe the work of EWGs involved in the drafting of specific ISPMs.

Requirements

• Advanced university degree in communications, professional or scientific writing, linguistics, English literature, or a related field.
• Bachelor's degree holders must provide two additional years of relevant professional experience.
• Proven ability to simplify complex technical content without compromising scientific accuracy or legal intent.
