TL;DR

Senior Customer Engineer (SaaS): Leading complex technical customer engagements and establishing support standards for a high-growth procurement platform with an accent on API integrations, system architecture, and enterprise-grade problem solving. Focus on building the US technical customer experience from the ground up, acting as the primary escalation point for critical issues, and bridging the gap between customer needs and product development.

Location: Must be based in New York and able to work in-person 3 days per week (Tue-Thu)

Salary: $140,000 – $160,000 + Equity

What you will do

  • Lead the resolution of complex customer technical challenges, including intricate configurations and cross-system integrations.
  • Act as the senior technical authority in the US, setting standards for quality and customer engagement.
  • Partner with global Product and Engineering teams to translate customer issues into actionable product improvements.
  • Establish foundational processes, tooling, and documentation for the US customer engineering hub.
  • Serve as the primary escalation point for critical enterprise customer issues, driving them to resolution.
  • Mentor team members and contribute to building a scalable knowledge repository and training materials.

Requirements

  • 6–10+ years of experience in customer-facing engineering, technical support, or similar roles within complex SaaS environments.
  • Strong systems intuition with experience navigating complex software platforms, workflows, and APIs.
  • Proven track record of owning critical customer issues and leading complex technical initiatives.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and influence senior stakeholders, both technical and non-technical.
  • Comfortable operating with ambiguity and taking ownership in a foundational, early-stage environment.
  • Must be based in New York and available for in-person office attendance 3 days per week.
