QA Automation Engineer (IoT)

What you will do

• Design and maintain automated test frameworks for IoT and connected products.
• Implement automated testing for APIs, user interfaces, and cloud integrations.
• Develop and maintain device simulators for multiple product lines.
• Build cloud-deployable simulator environments and support control through UI and API interfaces.
• Validate device-to-cloud and cloud-to-device communication contracts.
• Integrate automation solutions into CI/CD pipelines and participate in architecture discussions.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in QA Automation or SDET roles.
• Strong software development background with JavaScript / TypeScript.
• Experience designing scalable automation frameworks and testing APIs, web applications, and connected devices.
• Familiarity with embedded systems, connected products, and cloud-connected architectures.
• Experience with Docker and containerized deployments.
• English: Intermediate or higher required.

Nice to have

• Experience with Python.
• Familiarity with ESP32 and MCU-based systems.
• Knowledge of firmware integration testing or hardware-in-the-loop simulation.
• Experience with AI-assisted automation workflows.
• Gaming or simulation engine development experience.
