Head of HR - International

TL;DR

Head of HR - International (HR): Shaping and scaling the people strategy for the international organization outside of the US with an accent on organizational design and talent strategy. Focus on building the International People function, navigating complex employee relations across regions, and integrating AI-enabled tools into HR practices.

Location: Hybrid: Must be based in Barcelona or willing to relocate (minimum 2 days per week in office).

What you will do

• Lead people strategy for international business to support growth and align with global priorities.
• Build and scale the International People function and the regional HRBP team.
• Partner with senior leaders on organizational structure, workforce planning, and talent strategy.
• Advise on organizational effectiveness, leadership capability, and employee experience.
• Integrate AI-enabled technologies into organizational design and talent strategies.
• Ensure compliance with EU labor laws, GDPR, and local regulations.

Requirements

• 10+ years of progressive HR experience, including HRBP leadership.
• Experience in high-growth or scaling organizations, preferably in the tech industry.
• Strong knowledge of Spain and UK labor laws.
• Ability to build AI fluency and leverage emerging technologies in HR.
• Fluent in English and Spanish.
• Must be based in Barcelona or willing to relocate.
