What you will do

• Design and develop scalable backend solutions to implement complex algorithmic marketplace optimizations.
• Solve low-latency performance challenges for high-throughput distributed systems processing billions of events.
• Collaborate with data scientists and product teams to research, develop, and deploy end-to-end solutions.
• Ensure backend systems are thoroughly tested, optimized, and continuously monitored in production.
• Develop a deep understanding of business KPIs to provide high-impact technical solutions.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering experience with a focus on backend development.
• Deep proficiency in Java/Scala and Python.
• Strong foundation in system design for large-scale, high-throughput distributed systems.
• Proven experience with release management, observability, and production performance tuning.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to validate ideas using data.
• Must be able to work from the Netanya office 3 days per week.
