What you will do
- Handle installation and configuration of AWS database systems.
- Perform performance tuning and workload management.
- Optimize queries for improved system efficiency.
- Manage AWS RDS, Aurora (PostgreSQL and MySQL), and Redshift environments.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience in database administration.
- Master's degree in IT, Maths, Physics, Statistics, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
- Expertise in AWS technologies including RDS, Aurora, and Redshift.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for both business and technical levels.
- Must be based in or able to work in Porto, Portugal to support the hybrid work format.
