What you will do

• Design and integrate optoelectronic components, cameras, and optical sensors into complex multi-disciplinary projects.
• Collaborate with industrial design, mechanics, electronics, and software teams to ensure seamless system integration.
• Perform optical simulations and modeling using professional tools like Zemax and Light tools.
• Evaluate, test, and select camera sensors and modules based on specific technical use cases.
• Conduct image quality measurements and ISP tuning using tools such as Imatest and Chromatix.

Requirements

• Master of Science degree in optics, engineering physics, computer science, or a similar field.
• Strong understanding of optics and common optical components (cameras, displays, sensors).
• Proficiency in Matlab, Python, or similar technical programming languages.
• Practical experience working in professional optics laboratories.
• English: Good speaking and writing skills required.

Nice to have

• Experience in the full product development lifecycle, from concept brainstorming to high-volume production.
• Knowledge of computer vision, machine vision, or embedded system software development.
• Expertise in image processing (noise reduction, sharpening, color reconstruction, scaling).
• Experience integrating cameras with major chipset providers like Qualcomm, MediaTek, or NXP.
