Compensation: $28–$38 USD per hour

What you will do

• Assemble, configure, and test automated systems including material handling, palletizing, and end-of-line packaging.
• Perform mechanical and electrical setup, quality checks, and system troubleshooting in the shop.
• Support on-site installation and commissioning at customer facilities in collaboration with engineers.
• Validate system performance and assist with final documentation and pack-out.
• Refurbish and recondition returned systems as needed.
• Travel to customer sites for multi-day installation and support deployments.

Requirements

• 0–2 years of experience in robotics, automation, or mechanical assembly.
• Must be based in or willing to relocate to the greater Chicago area.
• Must be able to work onsite five days per week in Woodridge, IL.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and comfort using hand tools.
• Ability to travel up to 50–60% as needed.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in industrial environments.

Nice to have

• Exposure to industrial robots such as FANUC, ABB, KUKA, or Universal Robots.
• Basic electrical experience including sensors and wiring.
• Experience with end-of-line packaging systems like palletizers or conveyors.
• Familiarity with measurement tools like calipers and multimeters.
