Salary: $137,000 - $200,200 per year

What you will do

• Design and own backend services for modern data architecture and pipelines.
• Make high-impact technical decisions regarding architecture, data modeling, and system integration.
• Build integrations with internal/external data sources, APIs, and event streams.
• Partner with data engineering and product managers to define scalable platform capabilities.
• Implement best practices for CI/CD, testing, monitoring, and operational excellence.
• Troubleshoot and debug complex production systems.

Requirements

• 10+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong proficiency in Python.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, and AWS (S3, RDS).
• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Active U.S. Government TS/SCI security clearance with CI polygraph.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or equivalent experience.

Nice to have

• Experience with ETL/ELT workflows and large-scale data processing systems.
• Proficiency with GitLab CI, OpenShift, Helm, and Docker.
• DoD 8570 IAT II certification (e.g., Security+, CySA+).
