What you will do

• Serve as the enterprise technical authority for Azure cloud, platform, and data architecture.
• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of cloud architects and engineers.
• Drive cloud modernization and migration initiatives, including containerization of LAMP applications.
• Establish and govern cloud architecture standards, reference designs, and best practices.
• Oversee enterprise Azure Databricks environments and data pipeline architectures.
• Champion SRE practices, defining SLIs, SLOs, and resilience strategies.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure, platform, or systems engineering.
• Deep expertise with Microsoft Azure services, including compute, networking, and security.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Azure Databricks and Spark.
• Strong experience with Kubernetes and containerized workloads.
• Expert-level Linux administration and experience supporting LAMP stack applications.
• Proficiency in Terraform, Python, and Bash.

Nice to have

• Experience with Azure Cosmos DB or NoSQL databases.
• Knowledge of Pub/Sub and asynchronous messaging.
• Familiarity with Docker and MVVM patterns.
• Experience with Knockout.
