What you will do

• Install, design, and maintain database system software and implement security protocols.
• Monitor and analyze database performance to identify bottlenecks and optimize queries with development teams.
• Develop, implement, and test database backup and recovery policies.
• Provide technical leadership for database implementations and strategic architectural planning.
• Ensure 24/7 availability and integrity of the production environment, including rotating on-call responsibilities.
• Manage technology projects from initiation to completion.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
• 5-7+ years of DBA experience focusing on MS SQL Server 2016-2022.
• 3-5 years of experience with MySQL, MongoDB, and PostgreSQL.
• Extensive experience in query tuning and database performance optimization.
• Demonstrated knowledge of Azure PaaS SQL offerings.
• Proficiency in PowerShell and/or Python scripting.

Nice to have

• Experience with Linux server administration.
• Experience maintaining high-volume, mission-critical applications in a SaaS environment.
• Experience with Windows Server administration.
