What you will do
- Audit fraud operations cases including transaction reviews, account actions, and authentication events against SOPs.
- Review dispute cases for chargeback handling, provisional credit decisions, and compliance with Regulation E and Z.
- Maintain and evolve QA methodology, including scoring rubrics, sampling plans, and calibration standards.
- Produce actionable weekly and monthly reports identifying agent-level trends and systemic failure modes.
- Partner with operations leads to drive corrective actions, including coaching plans and SOP updates.
- Escalate systemic control gaps or vendor failures to Risk, Compliance, and Product teams.
Requirements
- Must be based in the United States
- 2–4 years of experience in QA, audit, or operations within a regulated fintech or banking environment.
- Hands-on experience with fraud operations workflows and dispute handling.
- Working knowledge of Regulation Z and associated billing dispute obligations.
- Strong written communication skills with the ability to provide clear, actionable feedback.
- High judgment and ability to defend scoring decisions in complex, non-binary scenarios.
Nice to have
- Experience supporting co-branded or partner credit card programs.
- Familiarity with fraud decisioning platforms and identity verification tooling.
- Prior experience building a QA program from scratch.
- Professional certifications such as CFE or CRCM.
