TL;DR
Design Engineer (Product Development -NX) (Automotive): Creating math data and virtual layouts of components and subsystems with an accent on BIW and injected parts. Focus on applying design standards, ensuring manufacturability, and integrating subsystem designs into vehicle systems.
Location: Hybrid in São Caetano do Sul, São Paulo, Brazil. Requires on-site presence 3 times a week (Tue to Thu)

What you will do
- Create math data, models, and virtual layouts for vehicle components, systems, and subsystems.
- Apply design standards, best practices, and Global Design infoBOOK standards.
- Develop and finalize criteria and typical sections.
- Implement manufacturability and Design for Assembly (DfA) knowledge into part and subsystem designs.
- Conduct NX Analysis and collaborate with CAE teams to refine and improve designs.
- Integrate component designs into larger systems and ensure high-quality, on-time math release.
Requirements
- Engineering degree completed.
- Proficiency in NX or Catia software.
- Experience with modeling of stamped (BIW) and/or injected parts.
- English: Intermediate level required.
- Active CREA registration required.
