What you will do

• Develop and maintain the Hinge Android application, implementing new features and improving UX.
• Collaborate within a cross-disciplinary team of product managers, designers, and backend engineers.
• Triage, debug, and resolve software issues to ensure application stability and performance.
• Contribute to the long-term health and evolution of the codebase using Android best practices.
• Perform regular code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
• Engage in agile ceremonies including stand-ups, planning sessions, and retrospectives.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of professional experience in Android development.
• Proven experience publishing at least one application on the Google Play Store.
• Proficiency in Kotlin and a strong understanding of Android SDKs and frameworks.
• Solid foundation in software development principles and maintainable code.
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration across technical and non-technical teams.
• Must be based in New York, NY for hybrid work.
