What you will do

• Perform production inspection plans for receiving, manufacturing, assembly, and test, including first article inspections.
• Conduct detailed visual and dimensional inspections using microscopes and precision gauges.
• Verify and maintain compliance with contractual quality changes and perform customer source inspections.
• Execute corrective actions and support nonconformance investigations using basic problem-solving techniques.
• Collect and analyze data to draw conclusions and make recommendations for product and process improvements.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives (Kaizen) to ensure safe and precision-driven workspaces.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED with 3 years of manufacturing quality experience, or an Associate’s degree with 0-3 years experience.
• Ability to obtain a U.S. DoD Secret Security Clearance.
• Must be based in the Western New York (WNY) area.
• Experience writing and tracking nonconformances, corrective actions, and supporting CAPA processes.

Nice to have

• Background in machining, inspection, assembly, or testing.
• Proficiency in reading engineering drawings and using precision tools like air gauges, CMM equipment, and Vici laser mic systems.
• Familiarity with AS9100 specifications and quality documentation best practices.
• Experience with process validation, tooling trials, and statistical process control (SPC).
