What you will do

• Perform thorough assessments of client network and security environments to recommend optimizations and deliver business value.
• Act as the top-tier escalation resource for high-complexity incidents, conducting deep root cause analysis and implementing long-term remediation.
• Define supportability frameworks, monitoring standards, and develop SOPs and runbooks to enable scalable service delivery.
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers and transform tribal knowledge into accessible technical documentation.
• Lead quarterly business reviews and strategic planning sessions to align technical roadmaps with client organizational objectives.
• Provide technical direction on projects to advance infrastructure service offerings for a leading MSP.

Requirements

• At least 7 years of experience in enterprise-level network and security environments (MSP, VAR, or large-scale enterprise).
• Must have US work authorization; sponsorship is not available.
• Deep expertise in the Palo Alto security ecosystem (Prisma Access/SD-WAN) or Cisco security portfolio (SD-Access, SD-WAN, Firepower).
• Strong knowledge of enterprise-grade routing, switching, and Cisco ISE for identity and access management.
• Experience with email security platforms such as Cisco ESA / IronPort.
• CCIE certification is highly preferred, though CCNP Security is acceptable.
