Location: Must be based in the US (Bellevue, Los Angeles, New York, Palo Alto, San Francisco, or Seattle). Office attendance required 4+ days per week.

What you will do

• Create and refine high-performance mobile apps pushing the limits of mobile technology.
• Design, architect, and implement well-tested Objective-C software for hirify.globalchat’s camera.
• Conceptualize, develop, and launch new features while evaluating technical tradeoffs.
• Collaborate with the Design team to optimize UI and infrastructure practices.
• Conduct code reviews and utilize AI tools to ship scalable, secure services.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in CS or equivalent; 6+ years of post-grad software development experience.
• Strong professional experience with iOS application development.
• Deep understanding of Objective-C Runtime, OS internals, and compilers.
• Proficiency in multithreading and performance optimization for mobile systems.
• Strong CS fundamentals in algorithms and data structures.
• Ability to audit AI-generated code for architectural integrity, performance, and security.

Nice to have

• Experience with Swift.
• Experience with C/C++.
• Knowledge of OpenGL or Metal.
