What you will do

• Configure and maintain Workday finance components, including ledgers, books, periods, projects, and allocations.
• Support Finance teams through month-end close, ensuring journals and revaluations are processed accurately.
• Own the integrity of core finance data structures, such as chart of accounts and cost centres.
• Collaborate with Accounting Operations and Financial Reporting to align system outputs with accounting policies.
• Troubleshoot ledger and journal issues to identify root causes and implement permanent fixes.
• Maintain detailed documentation of configurations, data logic, and finance data rules.

Requirements

• Experience with Workday Financials or other complex ERP systems in a configuration or systems role.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles, general ledger structures, and journal processing.
• Ability to translate business and finance requirements into system configurations.
• Strong analytical skills with a focus on data accuracy and controls.
• Confidence in managing stakeholders and explaining system behavior clearly.
